This month we will be speaking to office superstar, Karen Rutherford!

Hi Karen, how long have you worked for ZooLab?

4 years!

What is your role in the company?

HR Assistant/PA to Directors

What is something you love about working for ZooLab?

I love the variety of work in my role, each day is different.

With ZooLab, everyday is different! Can you think of a day which was completely out of the ordinary for you?

I helped out on the reception desk at The ZooLab Jungle Room! It was busy work - manning the desk, ringing up shop sales and looking after birthday parties - but worth it to see the amazement on the children's faces after meeting our animals.

Tell us a little bit about yourself! What is your favourite food?

My favourite food has got to be pizza!

What takes up too much of your time?

I have the two girls, so that takes up all of my time!!!

If you were on a desert island what 3 things would you bring?

My phone, my friends and family.

If you were an animal, what would it be? 

I would be a dog.

Meet Karen's two dogs- Barney, the red lab and Scooby, the cocker spaniel.

Tell us some of your hobbies!

Wish I had time for hobbies! When I get the chance I like to play bingo and go bowling.
