What is a life cycle?
A life cycle shows the different stages of development for a living thing! From the moment we’re born to the moment we die, we are in a life cycle. From infancy, every living thing on earth grows, slowly going through stages before reaching adulthood and eventually dying. It’s this journey we call a life cycle.
Life cycle of a butterfly
A life cycle is defined as the developmental stages that occur during an organism’s lifetime. Butterflies have four life stages;
The Egg
The larva (caterpillar)
The pupa (chrysalis)
The adult butterfly
