This month we will be speaking to ZooLab Ranger, Rob.
Hi Rob, how long have you worked for ZooLab?
I've been working for ZooLab since 2013, so 7 years.
What is your role in the company?
I'm an educational presenter out on the roads of the North East.
With ZooLab, everyday is different! Can you think of a day which was completely out of the ordinary for you?
Hmm, that's a hard one, I don't think there's any one day out of the ordinary but it's when I don't get asked an unusual question about my animals that is out of the ordinary.
What is something you love about working for ZooLab?
The children's passion for learning about the animals and the environments they live in.
Tell us a little bit about yourself! What's your favourite movie?
Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring extended cut.
What's the most unusual food you've ever eaten?
Definitely my sister's cooking.
Do you collect anything?
I currently have lots of tarantulas in my collection, a lot of old worlds that don't come out for ZooLab shows.
Tell us some of your hobbies!
In my spare time, I train for powerlifting which takes up about 70% of my spare time.
If you could share a meal with any 2 people, living or dead, who would it be?
The two people I'd like to have a meal with are Sir David Attenborough and Bill Kazmaire , yeah, two completely different people but would be amazing to get some of their knowledge.
And finally, is the glass half empty or half full?
Definitely a half full guy
