Back on the road!
ZooLab will resume face to face encounters in some areas of the UK from October 2020, following all Government and Pet Industry Federation safety requirements.
Our team has taken time to review the way in which we do things - looking at how to bring animal interaction to audiences while ensuring the prevention of COVID-19 transmission to keep both our staff and audiences safe from this disease.
Safety is our number one priority! We have developed a range of procedures to make our sessions as COVID-19 safe as possible. These include:Â
Comprehensive COVID-19 risk assessmentÂ
Limiting availability - Presenters will visit only one venue per dayÂ
Social distancing measures to reduce close contactÂ
Presenters will be equipped with PPE and subject to temperature checks prior to each visitÂ
It is also important to note that we can adapt to your COVID-19 procedures and adjust our visit accordingly.
Not ready for visitors just yet? That is ok! All ZooLab workshops are available as digital sessions via a platform of your choice.Â
A Busy September!
It has been fantastic to see so many of you over the last month! Digital sessions has allowed us to visit schools in areas out with our physical reach - our animals have explored as far as Shetland and have island hoped, headed North touring the Highlands and even visited pupils in Argyll.
We have also been speaking to virtual schools throughout the UK and International Schools worldwide - our team have adapted workshops to meet the Cambridge curriculum! We are so excited to expand our offering and work towards being (in part) a digital brand.
A big welcome to our new animal team mates!
Rob has welcomed Jasmine, Rosemary, Pixie and Trixie.
Meet our team members!
Our amazing team of ZooLab Rangers are what makes us the UK's #1 for ethical hands-on animal encounters. We thought you might like to meet them.
